All performances of CARMEN
(June 7, 14, 21) have been CANCELED

Due to the continuation of the shelter-in-place orders, we are sad to announce that our performances of CARMEN in June have been canceled.

We had this sterling cast lined up for you; headed by exciting mezzo-soprano Nikola Printz in the title role, with Gabriel Liboiron-Cohen as Don José, Lindsay Roush as Micaëla, and Ben Brady as Escamillo. Nikola and Ben were scheduled to sing with us just prior to joining the venerable 2020 Merola Opera Program. We will be sure to see plenty of these amazing artists again in the future.

Carmen

Carmen, a stunning gypsy woman, loves freely and passionately. Don José and Escamillo both vie for her affections, but when love reaches a fever pitch, jealousy leads to murder. From the first note of the overture to the final chords, Bizet delivers the most famous tunes in all of opera. We are excited to have two Merola Opera participants, Nikola Printz and Ben Brady, join us as Carmen and Escamillo!
