Driving Directions

From the South
Take 80 North/East towards Sacramento to the University Avenue exit and exit east. Take University to Shattuck and turn left. Turn right on Cedar and proceed four blocks to the club.

From the North
Take 80 South/West towards San Francisco to the University Avenue exit and exit east. Take University to Shattuck and turn left. Turn right on Cedar and proceed four blocks to the club.

From the West (San Francisco)
Take the Bay Bridge toward Oakland. Stay to the left after leaving the bridge. Get on 80 towards Berkeley/Sacramento. Take Highway 80 to the University Avenue exit and exit east. Take University to Shattuck and turn left. Turn right on Cedar and proceed four blocks to the club.

Parking (please double check onsite for any changes)
Parking is available on nearby streets with no restrictions during weekends and holidays. Weekday maximum parking is two hours from 8 am-7 pm.

Public Transportation

  • BART: Exit at Downtown Berkeley. Walk north on Shattuck to Cedar Street. Turn right on Cedar and walk four blocks to the club.
  • AC Transit: Routes 7, 18, 65 and 67 are among several that have stops near the club.

Driving Directions

From North (US 101)
Cross the Golden Gate Bridge heading south. Take the 19th Avenue/Park Presidio exit immediately after exiting the Toll Plaza. Take Park Presidio south to Geary Boulevard. Turn right (west) on Geary. Take Geary to 34th Avenue. Turn right (north) on 34th Avenue into Lincoln Park.

From South (I-280)
From I-280 take 19th Avenue north into Golden Gate Park. Stay left after crossing Lincoln Avenue into the park. Bear left onto 25th Avenue. Take 25th Avenue north to Clement Street. Turn left (west) on Clement Street. Take Clement Street to 34th Avenue. Turn right (north) on 34th Avenue into Lincoln Park.

From East (I-80)
From the Bay Bridge, take I-80 west to the 9th Street exit. Take the 9th St. exit and stay on 9th past Market Street and Van Ness Ave. Ninth then becomes Hayes Street. Continue on Hayes to Franklin Street. Turn right on Franklin. Then turn left onto Geary Boulevard and take Geary to 34th Avenue. Go right on 34th Avenue into Lincoln Park and drive to the Legion.

Parking
Free parking is available around the fountain in front of the museum or along El Camino del Mar.

Public Transportation

  • The Legion of Honor is accessible via Muni bus lines 18-46th Avenue, 38-Geary, and 1-California.
  • The 18 stops directly in front of the museum.
  • The 1 stops at 33rd Avenue and Clement Street. From there, you can transfer to the 18 or you can walk one block west to 34th Avenue and up Legion of Honor Drive.
  • The 38 stops at 33rd Avenue and Geary Street. From there, you can transfer to the 18 or you can walk two blocks north and one block west to 34th and Clement and up Legion of Honor Drive.
  • The walk from 33rd Avenue and Clement Street to the Legion of Honor entrance is approximately half a mile.

Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts

Location
Mountain View is located 40 miles south of San Francisco and ten miles north of San Jose. The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts is located at 500 Castro Street (corner of Castro and Mercy streets) in Downtown Mountain View.

Parking
Convenient parking is available free of charge in the Mountain View Civic Center garage located directly under the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. The entrance to the garage is on the 400 block of Mercy Street. Additional parking is available in the adjacent Bryant Street lot and in the parking structure on the corner of Bryant and California streets.

Bicycle racks are located on the rear plaza between the Center’s outdoor ParkStage and City Hall.

Public Transportation
The Center is a short five-block walk from Caltrain, VTA Light Rail and VTA buses at the Downtown Mountain View Transit Center. We are also the route for the free Mountain View Community Shuttle, which runs every day from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
